Satpuli, 19 Jan: “Under the BJP government, the multifaceted development of Satpuli Nagar Panchayat is progressing. A long-awaited project, the construction of Satpuli Lake, has received approval from NABARD with a funding of Rs 56,34,97,000. Once the lake is developed, it will not only provide employment opportunities for local youth but also host various sports competitions.”
This was stated by BJP senior leader, Chaubattakhal MLA, and Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj, while addressing an election rally in Satpuli market organised in support of the BJP candidate for Nagar Panchayat President, Anjana Verma, and the party candidates for the wards. He emphasised the need for a BJP victory in the local elections to ensure the development of the region and the establishment of a Triple Engine Government.
Maharaj further highlighted the various development initiatives taken under the BJP government, which include the construction of the Nagar Panchayat office building (Rs 1,61,44,000), development and beautification of the Dagleeshwar Mahadev Temple’s bathing area (Rs 76,00,000), and the construction of a multi-story shopping complex, public toilets, and parking (Rs 2,81,00,000).
Other projects include the construction of a Gaushala in Audal Bada (Rs 76,00,000), an urban water supply scheme (RS 25,56,00,000), a tourism accommodation facility with 40 beds (RS 4,42,65,000), car parking construction (Rs 3,52,53,000), and the construction of an inspection building and dormitory (Rs 2,43,88,000).
He appealed to the BJP workers and the local community, stating that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Uttarakhand is experiencing multifaceted development. He mentioned the rapid progress of the Rishikesh-Karnprayag Railway Line and the increasing number of tourists and travellers, indicating that the vision of Prime Minister Modi, who said that the next decade would belong to Uttarakhand, is now becoming a reality.
Maharaj also urged the public to elect Anjana Verma as the BJP candidate for Nagar Panchayat President and to support BJP candidates across all wards to ensure the accelerated development of Satpuli with a Triple Engine government.
