Dehradun, 24 May: Sardar Bhagwan Singh University organised a programme titled ‘Har Ghar Sabzi , Har ghar phool’ by the students of its School of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry. The objective of the programme was to distribute vegetable seeds and create awareness about the beneficial effects of organic vegetable production in kitchen gardens, roof gardens, etc.
The Head of Department, Agriculture Sciences, Prof FC Garg, along with faculty and students, distributed vegetables suited to the rainy season like cucumber, bottle gourd, bitter gourd, etc., to farmers of nearby areas on behalf of SBS University
Present on the occasion were Vice Chancellor Prof AK Sharma, Registrar KPS Rawat, Dean, Academics, Prof FC Garg, DSW Prof V Ram, Dr Amika Rautela, Anil Panwar, Sachin Jain, Soban Singh Rawat and Yashwant Singh Rawat.
