DEHRADUN, 7 Feb: A National Seminar on Law & Entrepreneurship was organised at Law College Dehradun.
Director of the University Dr Abhishek Joshi was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion. Ramanuj Mukherjee, CEO & Founder of iPleader, a renowned legal institution of the country, and Tanuj Kalia, Founder of Lawctopus, a top rank legal site of the country were present as keynote speakers.
More than 250 students from various colleges and universities including Law College Dehradun participated in the seminar.
The programme began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest. The first speaker, Tanuj Kalia shared his success story with the students and also gave them tips on start ups in the field of Law. He said that he had started working for Lawctopus during his school time which has made him a successful entrepreneur today.
Ramanuj Mukherjee, at the outset, explained the difference between National Law Schools and other schools like Law College Dehradun. He washed out many myths from the mind of the students and claimed that students from the traditional law colleges were doing much better than the National Law Schools. He chalked out an ideal Five Year Plan for Law students and also shared his own success story.
Those present on the occasion were Director Dr Abhishek Joshi, Principal and Dean of Law College Dr Rajesh Bahuguna, Dr Poonam Rawat, Kumar Ashutosh, Dr Anil Dixit, V Bhuvneswari, Vaibhav Uniyal, Rajit Sharma, Dr Vijay Srivastava and large numbers of students.
