Dehradun, 22 May: Seven Oaks School organised its Annual PT Display in the evening of 21 May. The event was presided over by the Chairman of the school, Dr S Ganguli. The programme commenced with the March Past, The four contingents led by the school Prefects marched with pride, glorifying the mottos of their respective Houses to the tunes of the prestigious military band the ‘113 GR’.
‘The Mass PT Display’ was a perfect presentation, manifesting focus and discipline to the core. The evening progressed with the excitement building up amongst the parents and the students. The Aerobics performance by the senior students drew applause from the spectators. A ‘Taekwondo’ Martial Arts Display was a presentation of endurance, strength and skills. This was followed by the spectacular ‘Zumba’ dance presented by senior girls.
The evening culminated with a Gymnastics presentation leaving all spellbound. Watching the military band perform was a wonderful experience for all.
The Headmistress announced the results. The Cock House Trophy was won by Willow House. The ‘March Past Trophy’ was bagged also by Willow House. The ‘PT Display Trophy’ went to Olive House. The Gymnastics boys bagged the ‘Best Presentation Trophy’ of the evening.
Principal LM Kumar proposed the vote of thanks, expressing his gratitude to Colonel Pradeep Kumar Beheva, Commanding Officer, 13 GR, for his support, and the parents for their presence. The evening concluded with the National Anthem.
