Dehradun, 27 May: Shooting of the film, “Diary of Mary Gomez”, began today at the Graphic Era Deemed University campus, here. The suspenseful and thrilling parts of this romantic film shot in the varsity premises, directed by Saral Ranawat, enthralled the thousands of youths present. President of Graphic Era Group, Dr Kamal Ghanshala gave the opening shot of the film. The University campus echoed to ‘sound, camera and action’ along with the performances of the new and experienced cast. The film, produced under the banner of ‘The Talking Tree Production’ has many stars of popular serials and films. Among them are popular film stars like Harsh Nagar, famous for the film ‘Love Day’, Vivek Kumar, Aarif Zakaria and Rahul Singh, Sasural Simar Ka fame star Vaishali Takker, Vishakha Raghav of Split Villa, Karan Khandelwal and Mohit Arora. Satish Sharma of Dehradun, known for his work in films like ‘PM Narendra Modi’ and ‘Sultan’ will be seen performing a special role in the film. Before the opening shot, the film producer introduced Dr Kamal Ghanshala to the cast of the film. Today, on the first day of the shoot, many important scenes of the film were shot. These were about the interesting student life of an artist, along with glimpses of his struggles. Today afternoon, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Of Uttarakhand, Prem Chandra Aggarwal visited Graphic Era & enheartened the artists present there. He mentioned that there are numerous places & avenues in Uttarakhand which can be explored and utilized for shooting, which are full of facilities as well as economic in all means. During this occasion, Nodal Officer of Uttarakhand Film Development Council, K.S. Chauhan, Senior journalist, Anjali Nauriyal & Director, Infrastructure of Graphic Era University, Dr Subhash Gupta were present during the occasion.
