DEHRADUN, 6 Jan: In the afternoon hours of the 5th of January, the youth of Dehradun got together at Shanshahi Ashram to sketch and click photographs as an initiative organized by Doon Photo Walk. Around 60 individuals were led out of their houses to spend 2 hours of their life amidst nature, carving out sketches and capturing images of their nearby surroundings.
The walk, led by Shivangi Pant, a talented sketch artist currently pursuing her passion in Bangalore, allowed each and every individual to realize the importance of imagining and visualizing and also helped in breaking the myth that only skilled artists can indulge in the art. As time went by, beautiful pieces of art were sketched and created on numerous canvases placed at the venue. The walkers narrated their experiences as most of them had a wonderful time.
Doon Photo Walk, led by Vaibhav Rana, Shubham Sharma, and Parth Joshi, is a community based in Dehradun, constantly organizing such walks with an aim of exploring the culture and heritage of the city along with promoting the love for the art by encouraging those interested in it to share their talent and passion via a common platform.
