Dehradun, 31 May: Chief Medical Officer, Dehradun, Dr Sanjay Jain and District Tuberculosis Officer Dr Manoj Verma paid obeisance at the Guru Ram Rai Darbar, here, today.
Both had a formal meeting with Mahant Devendra Dass, who announced that Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital would take care of 300 TB patients. The hospital would take complete responsibility for the treatment, medicines and meals of these TB patients.
The CMO and District TB Officer will soon make available the list of tuberculosis patients. The Uttarakhand Government and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital will jointly undertake the campaign of eradicating tuberculosis in the state.
The Chief Medical Officer had detailed discussions with the Mahant on improving the health services. Dr Jain praised the quality healthcare services provided by the Hospital. He appreciated that, during the outbreak of Corona and other health emergencies, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital always served as a strong partner of the state government. He expressed deep gratitude to Mahant Devendra Dass for this.
