Dehradun, 4 Feb: Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan presided over a meeting of all party leaders regarding the session that is to begin on 5 February, here.
The meeting was held at the Assembly Secretariat. The dates of the session have been fixed from 5 to 8 February.
The Speaker said that the Assembly session is convened at regular intervals. Sometimes, in special circumstances, a special session is also called.
During the discussion at the meeting, the Speaker appealed to all the party leaders for cooperation in conducting the session in an orderly and cordial environment.
In the business advisory meeting, various items on the agenda for tomorrow’s session were discussed.
Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal, Leader of the Opposition, Yashpal Arya of the Congress, BSP leader Mohd Shahzad, Pritam Singh of the Congress Party, and Khajan Das from BJP were present.
