By Our Staff Reporter

Mount Abu (Rajasthan), 5 Oct: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the ‘Global Summit-2024’ organised by Prajapita Brahmakumaris Ishwari Vishwavidyalaya here today. The Chief Minister reminded the gathering that Uttarakhand is called the land of Gods, because here Lord Shiva resides in every particle. He added that while on one hand, Uttarakhand is naturally picturesque, it is also spiritually distinct and vibrant on the other. People from every corner of the world come to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand to discover themselves. They engage themselves in meditation.

The CM said that people ask him how many temples or how many famous places are there in Devbhoomi, then he always responds that wherever one can look in Devbhoomi, that place belongs to the Gods. A large part of the state is covered with mountains, forests, and many of the mountains are covered with snow glaciers, rivers.

Dhami said that only those who are blessed by Baba Kedar can come to such a place. That is why everyone has reached here. He said that today he has also come as a seeker, and feeling a spiritual peace within. He reminded that he has been attending programmes of Brahmakumaris for several years. He added that he had been invited several times to visit Mount Abu and that he had a strong desire to come here and that he could come here today because of the blessings of the Supreme Lord and also because of the blessings one can get here from Raj Yogini Didi Maa Ratan Mohini besides the divinity of the place.

The CM noted that Vasudev Kutumbakam (World is a Family) is the essence of Indian philosophy. The message of mutual brotherhood is relevant even today. Just as new technology can provide material happiness, spirituality provides inner happiness. It works to create a harmonious balance between one’s body, mind and soul.  He claimed that this organisation is working to bring about a change in the lives of millions of people across the world. A proper way of living is explained to people in very simple words by the sisters and brothers associated with the Brahma Kumaris organisation, so that even the common people can make their lives simple by gaining knowledge about these topics easily.

On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Railway and Food Processing Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt, MP from Gorakhpur Ravi Kishan etc were amongst those present.
