St George’s College Heritage Cup Soccer Tournament witnesses one-sided wins

Mussoorie, 3 Aug: St George’s College, Mussoorie, inaugurated the 52nd edition of the St George’s College Heritage Cup (aka Jackie) Invitational Soccer Tournament on 1 August. The tournament will continue till 14 August. A total of 26 teams, comprising 15 clubs and 11 school teams, are participating in the tournament.

Five matches were played today in the tournament.

In the first match played today, Mussoorie United Football Club defeated Barlowganj Sports Club by 3-0.

For Mussoorie United Football Club, the goals were scored by Ayush Godiyal in the 28th minute, Sahil in the 36th minute and an own goal by the Barlowganj Sports Club in the 47th minute.

In the second match, Bhatta Sports Club defeated Blu Football Club by 6-0.

For Bhatta Sports Club, the goals were scored by Suraj in the 3rd minute, Danveer Rawat in the 4th and 9th minute, Sharad Rawat in the 37th minute, an own goal by Blu Football Club in the 46th minute and Shivam in the 58th minute.

In the third match played today, Shiva Sports Club defeated Eleven Star Club by 4-0.

For Shiva Sports Club, the goals were scored by Tanishk in the 4th and 36th minute, Aditya in the 30th minute and Shubham Singh in the 37th minute.

In the fourth match, Mussoorie Boys Club defeated Yuva Sports Club by 1-0.

For Mussoorie Boys Club, the only goal was scored by Ankit Khumola in the 12th minute.

In the fifth match, Mussoorie Madrid Club defeated Aryan Sports Club by 7-0.

For Mussoorie Madrid Club, the goals were scored by Munish Mansoor in the 16th and 49th minutes, Adnan Mohd in the 17th and 33rd minutes, Tazeem Ali in the 24th minute, and Ayush Chauhan in the 39th and 53rd minutes.

The referees for today’s matches were Abhi Ruchi Gurung, Pushkar Singh Gusain, Deepak Rawat, Prashant Bisht and Milan Chhetri.
