Dehradun, 10 Apr: The youth are excited to see new opportunities opening up for participation in the discovery, development and manufacturing of security related equipment. This enthusiasm of the youth was visible at a seminar organised, today, at Graphic Era Deemed University.
A seminar on ‘Innovation for Defence Excellence’, an initiative of the Ministry of Defence, was organised at Graphic Era University, here.
Deputy Programme Director of Defence Innovation Organisation, Jatin Arora said that the country will now become self-reliant in finding solutions to defence challenges. With the scheme ‘Aditi’ launched in this regard, startups, educational institutions and stakeholders will be able to contribute to solving the challenges of defence and aerospace with their domestic capabilities.
He also highlighted the various opportunities provided by this scheme.
The seminar was organised by the Department of Aerospace Engineering. Programme Executive of Defence Innovation Organisation Shalini Manwal, Dr Pushpendra Kumar, Dr Hrithik Dobriyal and Puneet Gupta were also present at the seminar.
