Dehradun, 11 Dec: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi has described the Supreme Court’s decision on Article 370 as historic. Welcoming the decision of the Supreme Court, Minister Ganesh Joshi said that the decision taken by Parliament on 5 August, 2019, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to remove Article 370 was upheld today by the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court in its historic decision. The Minister has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of the country.
He said that this is a victory for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and their faith in the Constitution of India. The minister said that Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude for the historic decision of removing Article 370 to keep the unity and integrity of India intact. He said Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India and the Modi Government is committed to their development and prosperity.
