Dehradun, 19 Apr: A camp was specially organised at 12 Turner Road here, today, under the guidelines of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under the supervision of Dr Pankaj Singh.
Dr S Farooq welcomed TB patients adopted by HWC, who were presented millets, pulses and milk along with soaps.
Dr S Farooq, in his address to the patients, said that TB like polio is an old disease that needs proper health care and regular treatment as prescribed by the treating doctor. The patient, in the interest of family, friends and people, at large, should not spit on the road or elsewhere to avoid infecting others. He also urged them to maintain cleanliness of the self and surroundings and never use plastic bags. He said those suffering now can use Gilo water, Garlic and Mulethi, which would support immune function and help their lungs and sinus passages to clear, support mucous and speedy recovery. At the end, he said, “TB Harega aur Desh Jitega!”
Dr Pankaj Singh thanked Dr S Farooq for his generosity and help to the needy and adoption of 150 TB patients.
