Dehradun, 13 Sep: The Literary Table (TLT) is an Author-Reader platform promoting the authors of Dehradun and is an initiative of Arogya Wellbeing Trust. TLT is hosting a gala event on 15 September at the Antara Auditorium, here. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is the event’s platinum sponsor along with various institutes and entrepreneurs of the city who have supported the cause. The Literary Table will be releasing the First Edition of its Souvenir to mark the occasion.
The Festival Director of the Literature & Arts Festival is Dr Aloka Dasgupta Niyogi. The event will feature eight sessions with award-winning authors such as Jerry Pinto, Kiran Manral, Madhulika Liddle, Akshaya Bahibala, IPS officer Abhinav Kumar, DGP of Uttarakhand, Raima Sen, granddaughter of the late legendary film actress Suchitra Sen, the highly acclaimed documentary Filmmaker, Robin Roy, and publishers Renuka Chatterjee and Ravi Singh.
Among the discussants and moderators are Bijoya Sawian, Venu Agrahari Dhingra, Dr Aloka Niyogi, Roopa Soni, Jasleen Kaur, Priyakshi Rajguru Goswami, Randhir Arora, Sanjeev Srivastava, Dr Ruby Gupta, Deepanjali Singh, Monisha Datta, and Siddhant Arora. The evening will be emceed by Monisha Datta. The programme will begin at 10 a.m. with an inauguration ceremony by the Chief Guest, Executive Director, ONGC, Narayani, and Guest of Honour, Chairman, Delhi Public School, Vikasnagar, Sanjay Agarwal, and Gunmeet Bindra, Principal of Daly College, Indore. Festival passes can be purchased at the venue on the day of the event or at Book World & Hotel Marbella.
