Dehradun, 4 Apr: US based eminent psychiatrist, Dr Rakesh Chandra visited Natraj Bookshop on Rajpur Road, here, today.
It turned out that Chandra is also a wilderness expert and a highly experienced wildlife conservationist, who has successfully raised a pair of tigers, Rani and Amal, and is in the process of sharing his rich experience in a book on which work is now in progress.
He visited the bookstore to select books concerning the dynamics of Tiger management to supplement his knowledge and shared some exclusive pictures from his forthcoming book.
Dr Rakesh Chandra, who hails from Dehradun, is a graduate of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He did his internship at the University of Chicago Hospital and his Psychiatry Residency at the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London. He has a Law Degree from Delhi University and an Advanced Law Degree in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago, USA.
He lives in Southern Illinois and continues to treat patients for geriatrics, drug and alcohol addiction and is currently visiting Doon.
