Rishikesh, 29 Dec: All the members of the District Industries Trade Delegation passed a motion condemning the harassment of a Rishikesh businessman by the representatives of a religious institution of the city and decided to form a 21-member committee and submit a memorandum of demands to all the institutions.
Along with this, the police administration will be asked to take action on the report lodged after the businessman consumed poison due to harassment.
At the meeting held at the office located on Dehradun Road, under the Chairmanship of District Industries Trade Association President Naresh Aggarwal and conducted by General Secretary Deepak Tayal, it was agreed that a businessman of the city being harassed by the trustees of a religious institution of the city. It was stated that all the traders were being harassed in this manner. It was decided to soon form a committee of traders which will submit a memorandum to the officials of all the religious institutions and warn them about this type of harassment.
Also present at the meeting were City President Lalit Mohan Mishra, City General Secretary Kalia, Pawan Sharma, Rajkumar Aggarwal, Abhinav Goyal, Manoj Kalra, Sandeep Gupta, Anshul Arora, Madhu Joshi, Pankaj Sharma, Pankaj Chawla, Sanjay Shastri, Vivek Goswami, Pradeep Kumar, Mangal Singh, etc.
