Tula’s Institute signs MoU on Cyber Security, Cloud Computing Education

Dehradun, 3 May: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was organised at Tula’s Institute under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, marking a significant step towards advancing education in Cyber Security and Cloud Computing.
The MoU was signed in collaboration with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), Uttarakhand Chapter, and IntelligenceX (XCON). The initiative aims to provide students with enhanced industry exposure, professional certifications, and practical learning opportunities. CSA, a globally recognised organisation, plays a key role in promoting best practices in cloud security and raising awareness about cyber threats.
Director, Professor Dr Shailendra Kumar Tiwari, Dean, Academics, Professor Nishant Saxena, CSE Head Dr Sandeep Kumar, and DSW Dr Sanjay Sharma addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of industry-oriented education in today’s evolving digital landscape. Faculty members including Dr Saurabh Singh, Girish Kumar, Mansi Negi, Bharti Kalra, and Anita Rajvanshi were also present on the occasion.
As part of the initiative, a Cyber Security and Cloud Computing Club has been established to provide hands-on learning through workshops, seminars, and certification programmes. During the badge ceremony, Santosh Kumar was appointed as Vice President and Yash Kumar as Assistant Vice President of the club.
The seminar covered key topics such as data protection, network security, ethical hacking, phishing awareness, password safety, malware protection, and digital privacy. Students also gained insights into cloud computing concepts including secure cloud storage, access management, and infrastructure security. Industry experts shared real-world cyber attack case studies, enhancing students’ practical understanding.
