Dehradun, 26 Dec: The Lamp Lighting & Oath Taking Ceremony for students of B.Sc. Nursing students, batch 2023–24 was celebrated at Swami Vivekanand Auditorium of Uttaranchal University. The event was organized on 26 December 2023.
The Chief Guest of the event, Prof (Dr) Ashutosh Sayana, Director, Medical Education, Uttarakhand guided the students regarding professional demand at the National or International Level.
The Guest of Honor, Manisha Dhyani, Registrar, Uttarakhand Nurses & Midwives Council provided Information regarding the Nursing profession and the placement level of the profession.
Prof (Dr) SS Sehgal, Vice President, Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice-Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro VC, Prof (Dr) Abhishek Joshi, Executive Director, Students Affairs and IT Services, Dr Kartikey, Joint Registrar (Planning, Governance & Liasoning), all of Uttaranchal University were present in the ceremony and guided the students. Aarti Rana, HoD, UCN and other faculty members organized this event very meticulously with the help of volunteers.
On this occasion, the students showcased their talent through the various cultural activities. i.e., Solo Dance, Group Dance, Pahadi Dance, Gujarati Dance, Bhangra, etc.
