Padma Bhushan recipient Dr Anil Prakash Joshi was the Chief Guest. At the outset, flowers were showered at the University Shourya Wall, accompanied with raising of patriotic slogans. A mega blood donation camp was organised on the occasion in which five blood banks collected blood from the donors. The camp was managed by the Legal Aid Centre and NSS. Faculty, officers, staff and students of the university enthusiastically participated in the programme and a total of 1287 units of blood were donated, breaking its own record.
