Dehradun, 20 Jun: Union Minister of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Bhupender Yadav, today, arrived in Dehradun on a two-day official tour. He was received at Jolly Grant Airport on his arrival by State Forest Minister Subodh Uniyal and other senior government officials. The Union Minister is here to take stock of the forest fires in the state and discuss the situation with the state government in an effort to find some permanent solutions to the issue.
During his stay in the state, Yadav is also scheduled to visit forest areas which have been affected by the fires this season and also interact with local communities in this regard.
