Dehradun, 21 May: UPES entered into a ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ with Indohaan Technologies Private Ltd, a company with expertise and experience in the sphere of Safety, Health, Environment and Sustainability Solutions. Dr Veena Dutta, Registrar, UPES, signed the MoU on behalf of the University, while Ashok K Grover, Director, Indohaan Technologies, represented his company in the presence of Dr Kamal Bansal, Dean, Academic Development & innovation; Dr Suresh Kumar, Dean, School of Engineering; Dr Nihal Anwar Siddiqui, Head, Department of HSE & Civil Engineering; and Dr Bikarama Prasad Yadav, Associate Professor, UPES.
Briefing the media, Arun Dhand, Senior Director, Public Affairs, UPES, stated that this MOU marked the beginning of a mutually gainful collaboration between UPES through its ‘Department of Health, Safety Environment & Civil Engineering’ and Indohaan Technologies.
The MOU will benefit UPES students with placement opportunities, summer internships and industrial visits while also promoting collaboration through consultancy projects between its signatories.
