Dehradun, 26 Nov: A book, ‘Uttarakhand ki Mahilayen Sangharsh aur Safalta ki Kahaniya’, written by Veenapani Joshi, the famous Hindi and Garhwali writer, was launched today by Kamal Kishore Goenka, Vice Chairman, Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Delhi.
Joshi has written 4 books on Garhwali and Hindi poetry. It was her 5th book – a well researched document on the not so well known women from Uttarakhand who have fought all odds in their lives to bring about substantial change in society.
The introduction of Veenapani Joshi was given by Kusum Nautiyal. Kamala Pant presented details of the book and apprised the audience about its background and the details.
