Weapon Exhibition & Firing held in India-Kazakhstan Joint Military Exercise

Dehradun, 6 Oct: The 8th edition of the India Kazakhstan Joint Exercise KAZIND is presently being conducted at Surya Foreign Training Node, Auli, from 30 September onwards.

The Indian Contingent, comprising 120 personnel, is being represented by a Battalion of the Kumaon Regiment and the Indian Air Force, along with personnel from supporting Arms and Services.

Based on the theme of the Exercise to conduct Joint Sub Conventional Operations under Chapter VII of the United Nations Mandate, a weapon and equipment display, handling of weapons followed by firing was conducted for the troops.

The troops from the Indian Contingent shared their expertise and experience with the troops of Kazakhstan Contingent during the weapon and equipment display. The commitment of the two nations towards operational readiness was on display which involved intense training sessions of weapon handling and different types of tactical firing positions.

Exercise Kazind 2024 is focused on achieving operational synergy, bolstering interoperability and ensuring tactical precision in close quarter engagements.
