DEHRADUN, 6 Dec: A workshop on road safety was organised at Maa Anandmayee Memorial School, Raiwala, today, by the ARTO, Rishikesh, Dr Anita Chamola.
She gave a presentation and made the students as well as staff aware of the rules and regulations of the transport department and the directions issued by the Supreme Court regarding school transport. She also had an interactive session with the students and the staff to make them aware of their responsibilities towards society in spreading awareness on ‘Road Safety’.
Students learnt about the mistakes they make while driving, which not only is harmful for them but also for others using the road.
The workshop was followed by a Quiz on ‘Road Safety’.
Director of the school, Arpit Panjwani, Principal BM Sharma were present with approximately 200 students and all staff members.
