DEHRADUN, 9 Nov: Students and Faculty members of SGRR School of Paramedical Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, enthusiastically participated and celebrated World Radiology Day, on 8th November, at their Paramedical Campus. The date marks the anniversary of the discovery of X Radiation by Wilhelm Conard Roentgen on 8th November 1895. The purpose of this day is to raise awareness of radiographic imaging and therapy which plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and the treatment of patient. On this day students presented their views on various advanced technologies in the field of Radiology. Dr. Kunal Kishor, Principal, SGRR School of Paramedical Sciences discussed various avenues and applications of Radiology, followed by a short cultural programme. Dr. Neha Chauhan, Divya Chauhan, Razia Siddiqui and Kiran Gupta also played significant roles in making the celebration a success.
