Wynberg Allen wins Cultural Fest at Ecole Globale School

Dehradun, 12 May: “Conoscenza”, an Inter School Cultural Fest organised by Ecole Globale International Girls’ School, here, proved to be an enriching experience for all. The participating schools were Ecole Globale International Girls’ School, The Doon School, Kasiga School, Unison World School, Doon Heritage School, Indian Public School, Tula’s International School, Shemford, Wynberg Allen School, Mussoorie, Sri Ram Centennial School and Sheffield School, Roorkee. The students were welcomed by the Ecoliers with applause, encouraging students to participate with a spirit of healthy competition.
The grand opening ceremony was followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the guests of honour, Mrs & Mr Atul Pundir, and Rupa Gosain. The school was abuzz with back to back activities like Bohemian Rhapsody, Still Life, Canvas, Terribly Tiny Tales, Capture, Lights Camera Dance, Radio Ga Ga, Acer and Issa Dank Meme. Students were deeply engrossed in their assigned tasks. It was an opportunity for students to socialise and inculcate a competitive spirit amongst them.
Finally, the announcement of the winning teams was made in which Wynberg Allen School bagged the Overall Trophy. In ‘Issa Dank Meme’, the first position was secured by Kasiga School. In ‘Acers’, the 1st position went to Wynberg Allen School. In ‘Radio Ga Ga’, Shri Ram Centennial School got the top honour. In Bohemian Rhapsody, 1st position went to The Doon School; while for ‘Terribly Tiny Tales’, the 1st position was taken by Doon Heritage School. In ‘Captures’, the  1st position was won by Kasiga School; while the first positions for ‘Innuvendo (Canvas) and Innuvendo (Still Life) were taken by Indian Public School and Wynberg Allen School, respectively. The top honour for ‘Lights, Camera, Dance’ was taken by Doon Heritage School.
Amarjeet Singh Juneja, President, EGIGS, said that such mega events would be organized time and again giving the students a chance to display their talents and also develop the true spirit of togetherness.
