Dehradun, 4 Jan: The Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences organised an alumni meet for its 1998 batch, today.
Former students celebrated the silver jubilee, sharing memories and emphasising the institute’s role in shaping their thoughts and careers. The event included a grand alumni meet at Swami Rama Himalayan University, highlighting achievements and the establishment of the university as an education hub. Distinguished alumni from the US and Kuwait participated, emphasising the global impact of the university.
The Chief Guest, Dr Vijay Dhasmana, expressed pride in the students’ accomplishments and reflected on the institution’s illustrious history. The celebration included a symbolic tribute to the founder, Dr Swami Rama, and a dance performance by Dr Ruchi Gupta in homage to Goddess Saraswati.
