4 students of Pantvarsity secure top 10 positions in ICAR PG exam

Pantnagar, 14 Sep: The College of Community Sciences of the GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology has achieved a major feat at the national level. Four undergraduate students of the college, namely Niharika Pandey (AIR-3), Nandika Bajaj (AIR-6), Riya (AIR-8) and Divya Lingwal (AIR-9) have secured top 10 positions in the ICAR Postgraduate (PG) Entrance Examination 2025. These students have earned Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for two years, which will provide them financial assistance for master’s degree in ICAR recognised State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs) across India.

Vice-Chancellor Dr Manmohan Singh Chauhan said that this is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of the students. Their achievement is not just a personal achievement but a symbol of the academic quality and excellence of the entire university. “We are proud that our students will make a significant contribution in the field of community science and make their mark at the national level,” he asserted.

The ICAR PG entrance examination is considered to be extremely competitive and securing a place in the top 20 guarantees a Junior Research Fellowship. This year’s success has established the quality of education and student talent at the College of Community Sciences, Pantnagar University at the national level.
