500th Yogahaar Day celebrated with great enthusiasm

Haridwar, 14 Sep: The 500th ‘Yogahaar Day’ was celebrated with great enthusiasm, here. The celebration was dedicated to organic farming and holistic nutrition for all living beings. The fest was organised over Google Meet and Facebook Live. More than 100 families from 17 states of the country participated along with their relatives.

Yogacharya Raghuvir Singh Rajput performed Yoga and Agricultural Entrepreneur Sharad Verma was present as the Chief Guest on this occasion. Both are from Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. “I am very inspired by the Yogahaar Programme. This is a live directory on ‘how to achieve better health good production and its value addition,’’ Verma stated.

The ‘Yogahaar Utsav’ was celebrated today to mark the 500-day completion of the ‘Dainik Yogahaar’ program based on voluntary-public participation and facilitated by various institutions of Patanjali, Haridwar. The programme, which focuses on diverse topics of yoga and Ahaar, has been named ‘Yogahaar’ as the month of September is being celebrated as ‘Nutrition Month’ across the country. The theme of Yogahaar Utsav was also dedicated to the organic nutrition of soil, water and all beings.

Ramkrishna Raghuvanshi described Yogahaar as a united family of the country. Ramesh Chand Mehra and Ranjana Kinhikar introduced the guests and yogacharyas who have participated online in the Yogahaar programme across the country and the world in the last 500 days. Dr Vinod Kumar Bhatt spoke about the success story of 20 successful and inspiring farmers. Kuldeep Uniyal gave a presentation on the documentation of organic farmers, consumers, and organic villages. Apoorva, Neema, Akshay and Abhiraj from PORI presented videos of the activities of the Campus and the messages sent by the farmers.

Chief Guest Sharad Verma shared his experiences on organic farming and the benefits of the Yogahaar programme.

Pawan Kumar stated that the 525th Yogahaar Day celebration will be organised on 9 October at Itarsi in Narmadapuram district of MP.

Vivek Benipuri congratulated all the members on the successful conduct of the event. The programme was coordinated by Munilal Yadav and Dinesh Chandra Semwal proposed the vote of thanks.
