Dehradun, 18 Feb: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for approving ₹14.55 crore for the reconstruction of the LKD Motor Road under the Mussoorie constituency.
Joshi stated that the long-pending demands of the local residents are being fulfilled on a priority basis. He informed that under the Chief Minister’s announcement, the community building located in Guniyal Gaon will soon undergo renovation and beautification. This initiative will provide improved facilities to villagers and promote social activities in the area.
Additionally, in Dehradun district, under the Mussoorie Assembly constituency, work will soon commence on the Dehradun–Kimadi–Lambidhar–Cart Mackenzie–Company Garden Motor Road (SH-79). From kilometer 1 to 24 (Supply, Cantt to Lambidhar, Basagaad, Mussoorie), the road will be upgraded from a single lane to an intermediate lane. The project includes additional hill cutting, construction of cross drains, and safety walls.
Minister Joshi said that widening of this road will ease traffic movement, reduce accidents, and boost tourism in the region.
He also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for including the beautification and renovation of the Guniyalgaon community building under the Chief Minister’s announcement. Joshi added that both projects will soon be formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Dhami.
