Dehradun, 2 Mar: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi visited the Maldevta area today, where a tragic accident occurred late last night in Sherki village under the Raipur area, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old youth after being hit by a dumper truck.
The Minister met the bereaved family and expressed his deep condolences. Offering words of comfort, he described the incident as extremely tragic and painful. He prayed for the peace of the departed soul and wished strength for the grieving family to bear this irreparable loss.
Joshi also spoke over the phone with the District Magistrate of Tehri Garhwal and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, directing them to take strict measures to prevent such incidents in the future and ensure that appropriate action is taken to curb the causes leading to such accidents. He issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials in this regard.
He stated that the state government stands firmly with the affected family and assured that all possible assistance will be provided from the government’s side.
