Private staff appointed for newly inducted ministers

Dehradun, 20 Mar: Following the recent expansion of the Uttarakhand Cabinet, private staff have been appointed for the newly inducted ministers, with orders issued by the Secretariat Administration. Gopal Nayal has been assigned as part of the private staff of Cabinet Minister Ram Singh Kaira, who represents Bhimtal Assembly constituency. A senior principal private secretary, Nayal was earlier posted in the private staff of Finance Secretary V Shanmugam and will now serve in his new role with the minister.

Harish Kumar has been appointed as the private staff to Khajan Das, MLA from Rajpur in Dehradun district, who has also been inducted as a minister. A senior private secretary, Harish Kumar was previously attached to the private staff of Additional Secretary, Planning Department, Vandan, and will now serve under the minister.

Vijay Pal has been designated as part of the private staff of Bharat Singh Chaudhary, MLA from Rudraprayag and newly inducted minister. Vijay Pal, a senior private secretary, was earlier working with Additional Secretary, Energy, Mehrban Singh Bisht, and will now assume responsibilities in the minister’s office.

Rajkumar Pathak has been posted as private secretary to Pradeep Batra, MLA from Roorkee in Haridwar district and a new entrant to the Cabinet. Pathak was earlier serving in the private staff of Additional Secretary in the Uttarakhand Government, Jharna Kamthan, and will now work with the minister.

Amit Kumar has been appointed as private secretary in the office of Madan Kaushik, MLA from Haridwar and a former Cabinet Minister who has once again been inducted into the ministry. Amit Kumar was previously associated with the private staff of Additional Secretary, Finance, Himanshu Khurana.

According to the order issued by Additional Secretary Kavindra Singh, all officers belonging to the private secretary cadre have been directed to assume charge at their new place of posting with immediate effect and submit compliance reports to the Secretariat Administration (Central) Section without delay.
