Dehradun, 7 Apr: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi attended a programme organised in Jaintanwala on the occasion of the 47th Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). During the event, held on Monday in the presence of the minister, more than three dozen ex-servicemen and local residents, impressed by the party’s ideology and policies, joined the BJP. Ganesh Joshi welcomed the new members by draping them with party scarves and formally inducting them into the party.
On this occasion, Ganesh Joshi said that the BJP has always embraced the principle of Antyodaya and has worked with the core mantra of “One India, Great India” and “Service to the Organisation”. He stated that it is due to the dedication, commitment, and spirit of service of millions of party workers that the BJP has reached the pinnacle in the country today. He paid tribute to all the great personalities whose tireless efforts and selfless service helped the party achieve this position and extended greetings and best wishes to all party workers on the Foundation Day.
The minister also inquired about development works in the area and listened to the concerns of the local residents present at the gathering.

Afterwards, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi visited the residence of senior BJP worker Maharaj Singh Negi in Jaintanwala, where he honoured him by presenting a shawl and a party scarf, and hoisted the party flag at his residence, extending Foundation Day greetings. Former village head Nain Singh Pawar was also present on this occasion.
