Mussoorie, 5 Jun: The ‘Talent Show-2026′, held on Friday at CJM Hampton Court School, here, turned into a magnificent celebration of student talent, creativity, and confidence. Throughout the day-long, vibrant event, students enthusiastically participated in both on-stage and off-stage competitions, captivating everyone with their multifaceted abilities. The programme commenced with a prayer assembly, the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, and a welcome for the guests and judges. The school campus was abuzz with enthusiasm, zeal, and creative energy. Around 30 different competitions were organised, offering students a platform to showcase their artistry, powers of expression, and skills.

The panel of judges included Anita Puri Mohindra (Dean of Academics at DRDO’s Institute of Technology Management), author and researcher Nidhi Bahuguna, and entrepreneur and education enthusiast Preeti Goyal. School Principal Sister Ivy, along with coordinators Rekha Singh and Nandini, were also present on the occasion. Cultural performances added a special charm to the event; students displayed their talents through band performances, folk and Western dance, Hindi and Western vocal music, stand-up comedy, and a showcase of traditional attire from various states. The audience cheered enthusiastically, applauding the colourful performances.

Meanwhile, in off-stage competitions, students demonstrated their imagination, creative thinking, and innovative spirit. A healthy competitive spirit was evident among the participants. The judges highly praised the students’ confidence, discipline, and dedication, noting that such events play a crucial role in the holistic development of children. School Principal Sister Ivy stated that education is not limited to bookish knowledge alone; providing a platform for students’ hidden talents is equally essential. Events like talent shows offer students the opportunity to discover and hone their abilities.
