DEHRADUN, 6 Jun: On the occasion of World Environment Day, AntarMan Parivar, in collaboration with Let Me Care Foundation and powered by the generous support of Sampann Seva Sankalp Foundation, launched Mission Dhara 2026, an ambitious campaign to plant 100,000 trees across Uttarakhand. The initiative was dedicated to the memory of Uttarakhand’s legendary “Tree Man,” Vishweshwar Dutt Saklani, whose lifelong commitment to afforestation continues to inspire generations.
Over the past three years, AntarMan Parivar has successfully planted nearly 15,000 trees annually, driven by the vision of Founder Sushma Bacheti to create a greener and healthier future.
The event was graced by renowned environmentalist Dr Anil Joshi and Alok Kumar Pandey, IAS (Municipal Commissioner), who highlighted the importance of environmental leadership and community participation in combating climate challenges.
A special Green Warriors Felicitation Ceremony honoured environmental activists, volunteers, community leaders, and partner organizations for their outstanding contribution to Uttarakhand’s green movement.
Sampann Seva Sankalp Foundation, as the Principal Supporter and Powering Partner of Mission Dhara 2026, played a pivotal role in enabling and strengthening this large-scale environmental initiative, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable development and social impact.
Representing Let Me Care Foundation key Members Abhishek Pandey, Siddhant Kala, Anil Sharma, Sagar Dangwal, Nitin Bansal, Mohit Rawat, Priyanka Kandwal and Abhishek Chaudhary were present and expressed their commitment to advancing environmental awareness and community engagement.
Carrying forward the message of “Save Tree, Save Future,” Mission Dhara 2026 aims to inspire citizens to not only plant trees but also protect and nurture existing green cover.
Mission Dhara 2026 stands as a powerful symbol of collective action, environmental stewardship, and the shared vision of building a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable Uttarakhand.
