Dehradun, 9 Jun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami unveiled the audio clip of the ‘Meri Yojana’ book prepared by the Programme Implementation Department at the Secretariat here today. On the occasion, he observed that the book compiles welfare schemes of various departments at one place, making it easier for citizens to access information.
Dhami stated that the book presents details of central and state government schemes related to self‑employment, skill development, education and other important sectors, including eligibility, benefits and application processes, in simple and accessible language. On this occasion, he also directed the officials to ensure that welfare schemes reach the last person and that government orders are issued in language easily understood by the public.
The CM also reminded that Narendra Modi has become the longest serving elected Prime Minister of the country and under his leadership India is setting new benchmarks of development while moving rapidly towards the resolve of a developed nation. Dhami asserted that the union government is providing a strong foundation for progress through new laws and policies and has extended special support to Uttarakhand, with continuous financial assistance for development works. As a result, significant progress has been achieved in road, rail, air connectivity, health, education and infrastructure, ensuring that development reaches even remote areas.
Dhami emphasised that the double engine government has strengthened the state’s economy and recorded continuous growth in per capita income. He also asserted that through schemes such as the Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana, Mahak Kranti Yojana, Aroma Valley and Mission Apple, new opportunities for self‑employment and livelihood are being created for the youth and women.
On the occasion, Programme Implementation Secretary Deepak Kumar shared that the audio version will be broadcast on Akaashvani and other radio stations. He also stated that the department has already published four editions of the ‘Meri Yojana’ book and released its digital version.
Director General, Information, Bansidhar Tiwari was also present at the event.
