Mussoorie, 15 Jun: BJP workers accorded a rousing welcome to the party’s national president, Nitin Nabin, upon his maiden visit to Mussoorie. During the visit, detailed discussions were held regarding strengthening the party organisation, preparations for the upcoming 2027 assembly elections, and development works in the Mussoorie region. Party workers briefed the national leader on organisational activities and public outreach campaigns in the area.
It is reported that Nitin Nabin arrived in Mussoorie on Saturday for a private visit and departed for Delhi on Monday. During the meeting with BJP workers, Nabin engaged in direct dialogue, seeking feedback on the organisation’s ground-level status and the party’s acceptance among the public. He emphasised further strengthening the organisation down to the booth level and ensuring that the public welfare schemes of the central and state governments reach the common people.
Workers informed the party president that the BJP organisation remains consistently active in the Mussoorie assembly constituency and that there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the cadre regarding the upcoming elections. Development works undertaken in the region were also highlighted. Leaders present at the meeting noted that under the leadership of Cabinet Minister and Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi, significant work has been accomplished in sectors such as roads, drinking water, tourism, and infrastructure, generating positive discourse among the public.
Nabin commended the development works and organisational activities. Workers urged him to visit Mussoorie again in 2027. Appreciating the workers’ enthusiasm, he called upon them to further strengthen the organisation. Considerable enthusiasm was evident among BJP workers regarding the national leader’s visit. Party office-bearers described the visit as significant and inspiring for the upcoming election preparations. Several office-bearers and workers were present at the meeting, including BJP Mussoorie Mandal President Rajat Agarwal, former Mandal Presidents Mohan Petwal and Rakesh Rawat, former General Secretary Kushal Rana, and Mandal Vice-Presidents Vijay Bindwal and Gud Mohan Rana.
