New municipal board will shape Narendra Nagar’s future: Subodh Uniyal

Narendra Nagar, 24 Jun: Cabinet Minister and local MLA Subodh Uniyal attended the oath‑taking ceremony of the newly elected board of Narendra Nagar Municipal Council held here today and extended warm congratulations to the chairperson and all councillors. He said that the local bodies are the strong foundation of democracy and that they serve as effective instruments of public service and development. Expressing confidence in the newly elected municipal council, he asserted that it will live up to public expectations and work with dedication for the overall development, cleanliness, good governance and welfare of Narendra Nagar, playing a vital role in shaping the town’s bright future.

Uniyal observed that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, development works across the state are being accelerated. In Narendra Nagar too, strengthening of basic infrastructure and welfare initiatives are being prioritised. He wished the new municipal chairperson and all the representatives a successful tenure filled with public service and expressed hope that through public participation and mutual coordination, the board will give new direction to the town’s progress. Among those present on the occasion were the newly elected chairperson Rajendra Vikram Singh Panwar from BJP and other councillors and dignitaries.
