During the programme, Nasha Mukti Mitras who have made significant contributions towards advancing the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan will be felicitated. Winners of various competitions organised by different states and outstanding stakeholders will also be honoured.
The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking serves as a reminder of the shared responsibility of governments, institutions, communities and citizens in addressing substance abuse. During the Nasha Mukt Bharat Week, activities such as registration drives for Nasha Mukti Mitras, seminars, webinars, training programmes, street plays, rallies, yoga sessions, e-pledge campaigns, signature campaigns, essay writing, painting competitions and other awareness initiatives were organised across the country.
The concluding programme will showcase the achievements of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and the extensive public participation it has generated. It will also inspire citizens, institutions and community organisations to further strengthen the resolve of “Nasha Mukt Bharat, Khushhal Bharat”.
