Dehradun, 15 Jul: Graphic Era conveyed the message of transforming nature conservation into a movement driven by public participation and preserving a green legacy for future generations, here, today.
A tree plantation drive was organised today at Graphic Era Hill University on the occasion of Harela festival. The University’s Acting Vice Chancellor, Dr Tabassum Naqvi said that through its green campus, Graphic Era is not only preserving greenery but also laying a strong foundation for a greener and safer future for generations to come. Dr Tabassum further strengthened the campaign for environmental conservation by planting Kachnar trees across the university campus.
The tree plantation drive was jointly organised by the Department of Environmental Science and the NSS Unit of Graphic Era Hill University.
University Registrar Dr Jyoti Chhabra, Dean of Academics Dr Pramod S Nayar, Head of the Department of Environmental Science Dr Kamal Kant Joshi, NSS Unit Head Aditya Harbola, Dr Avinash Chauhan, and other faculty members were present on the occasion.
