Dehradun, 15 Jul: Dr Chinmay Pandya, Spiritual Leader of the All World Gayatri Pariwar, Shantikunj, Haridwar, and Pro Vice-Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, along with his family, paid a courtesy visit on Mahant Devendra Das at the Darbar Sahib, here, today. During the visit, he offered prayers and sought blessings at Jhanda Sahib and the Darbar Sahib.
During the interaction held at the Darbar Sahib on Wednesday, senior dignitaries from both the spiritual and educational institutions engaged in extensive discussions on Indian culture, spirituality, education, nation-building, and social service. Dr Chinmay Pandya shared his views on the preservation of Indian culture, the expansion of spiritual consciousness, and the pivotal role of youth in nation-building.
On the occasion, Mahant Devendra Das remarked that Shantikunj, Haridwar, is not only one of India’s largest spiritual and social organisations but also one of the most respected institutions of its kind in the world. Appreciating the remarkable contributions of the All World Gayatri Pariwar in the fields of social service, value-based education, and national development, Maharaj said that the organisation has been selflessly serving society and the nation for decades. He also lauded Dr Chinmay Pandya’s simplicity, dedication, and spirit of service.
Dr Chinmay Pandya, in turn, highly appreciated the outstanding contributions of the Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Mission, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital in the fields of education, healthcare, and social service.
During the meeting, meaningful discussions were held on strengthening cooperation between Shri Guru Ram Rai University and Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya in the areas of education, research, the Indian Knowledge System, yoga, culture, innovation, and social outreach. Both institutions expressed their commitment to working together through joint academic, research, and cultural initiatives to make a significant contribution to nation-building.
