Dehradun, 27 Jul: The School of Agriculture, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, organised an industrial visit today to the esteemed Himalaya Wellness Company, providing 80 students of BSc Agriculture (Honours), accompanied by three faculty members, with valuable exposure.
Dr S Farooq, President, Himalaya Wellness Company, addressed the gathering and emphasised the importance of integrating traditional knowledge with modern practices, highlighting how innovation, sustainability, and ethical values form the backbone of the wellness and agriculture-based industries.
Dr Farooq encouraged the students to pursue excellence in agricultural sciences and underscored the role of young professionals in shaping the future of India’s agribusiness landscape. His inspiring words provided the students with a deeper understanding of industrial processes, facilities, and the broader socio-economic impact of agriculture-driven enterprises.
