UPCL MD reviews power supply in Vikasnagar, stresses on better services

Dehradun, 4 Sep: Managing Director of Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) Prakash Chand Dhyani today undertook an official tour of Vikasnagar region, and inspected the electricity supply and distribution arrangements in Vikasnagar, Sahaspur, Dakpathar, Dhakrani and Kulhal. During the meetings with officials, he reviewed the facilities being provided to consumers and directed that the system be further improved with prompt resolution of grievances.

Chief Engineer NS Bisht, Superintending Engineers Yudhveer Singh Tomar and Gaurav Sharma, Executive Engineer Shakti Prasad, Sub Divisional Officers Ashok Kumar of Dakpathar, Arshad Ali of Vikasnagar and Vikas Bharti of Herbertpur, along with Assistant Engineer Yogesh Kumar and Junior Engineers Vipin Kotiyal, Rajnish Bhatt and Kesar Singh also accompanied him. The officers apprised the MD of various aspects of the distribution network and discussed the growing demand for electricity in the area.

On this occasion, Dhyani claimed that UPCL is continuously working to expand and strengthen the distribution system to ensure better and uninterrupted supply to consumers. He instructed regular monitoring of lines, transformers and the network, with priority given to resolving complaints. He emphasised that the department’s primary objective is to provide quality services to consumers, and strengthening the distribution system is essential to achieve this.
