Kotdwar, 24 Sep: A computer distribution programme was organised at Kotdwar Police Station under the aegis of Aadharshila Institute, today. Assembly Speaker and Kotdwar MLA Ritu Khanduri Bhushan attended the programme as the Chief Guest.
On the occasion, computers were provided to Kotdwar Police Station. These systems will be used for monitoring cybercrimes, managing cyber-related complaints, police data management, and monitoring activities in the Kotdwar area. The initiative will help make police administration more effective, organised and technologically equipped.
Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan said that cybercrime has emerged as a significant challenge in the present era. Therefore, it is essential to equip the police administration with modern technological resources. The availability of resources such as computers will facilitate not only the monitoring and prevention of cybercrimes but also the day-to-day functioning of the police.
She appreciated the initiative of Naresh Ghildiyal, founder of Aadharshila Institute, to provide technological resources to the police administration and said that such efforts play an important role in strengthening public safety.
The programme was attended by Suman Kotnala, State Executive Member, BJP Uttarakhand; SP Manoj Kumar Thakur; Station House Officer Pradeep Negi; Naresh Ghildiyal, Founder of Aadharshila Institute; along with other police officers and personnel.
