Haridwar, 15 Feb: Haridwar MP Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ flagged off the Aastha Special Train that left for Ayodhya from Haridwar railway station today. As the train was leaving devotees were seen dancing to the Bhajans sung in praise of Lord Ram. The train is carrying 1350 passengers and will reach tomorrow. This is the second Aastha Special Train to leave for Ayodhya from Haridwar since the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Nishank expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government for the Aastha Special Trains from across the country to Ayodhya. He said that the facilities being provided to Ram devotees across the country for the darshan of Ram Lala are incomparable. Ram Lala is now seated at his birth place and lakhs of devotees across the country are eager to have his darshan and offer their obeisance to him.
It may be recalled that, initially, the Aastha Special Train was to run from Dehradun but later it was decided to operate it from Haridwar instead.
