Dehradun, 12 Aug: The BJP Mussoorie Constituency unit organised a grand Tiranga Yatra today. Present were BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt and Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, who flagged off the Tiranga Yatra.
The Tiranga Yatra was led by the Youth Wing and began at Kishanpur Diversion, passing through Dilaram Chowk and concluding at Haathi Barkala. The journey saw enthusiastic participation from party workers, hundreds of youths and local residents, who joined in chanting patriotic slogans and celebrating the spirit of the nation.
Bhatt highlighted that, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call, the Tiranga Yatra is being conducted across the country and the state. He urged everyone to hoist the national flag at their homes. Joshi appealed to people to join the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, celebrating freedom and honouring the martyrs who sacrificed everything for the country’s independence and honour. He emphasised that the Tiranga symbolises national unity and pride. He noted that this nationwide campaign has been actively running for the past three years. Joshi added that the participation of children, youth, and women in today’s Tiranga Yatra is a testament to the respect for the national flag among every Indian. He urged everyone to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and ensure proper respect for the flag.
Present at the event were BJP Yuva Morcha National Vice President Neha Joshi, Siddharth Aggarwal, Surendra Rana, President Pradeep Rawat, Poonam Nautiyal, Babita Sahotra, and many others.
