Dehradun, 7 Nov: State Education Minister, Dr Dhan Singh Rawat visited Sainik School Ghorakhal in Nainital to closely observe the educational system, military training, and available facilities. During his visit, he engaged in detailed discussions with the school administration and military officials about the school’s educational activities and various aspects of its functioning. He also interacted with the students to gather insights on their educational experience.
In a statement to the media, Cabinet Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat shared that he had visited the school to learn more about its educational and military training activities. He further discussed various operational aspects of the school with the management and military officers.
Dr Rawat added that, during the visit, he had in-depth discussions on topics related to education, innovation, research, training, and the National Education Policy-2020 with the military officials. He also highlighted the state government’s efforts to strengthen the education system, including the establishment of the Vidya Samiksha Kendra, which aims to promote innovation, employment, and quality education as a historic step.
During the visit, Dr Rawat shared a meal with the students and received feedback on the school’s educational and extracurricular activities. He mentioned that efforts would be made to implement similar systems in the state’s schools to improve educational quality and infrastructure.
