Dehradun, 11 Nov: An interschool Council Volleyball Tournament (boys) was held today at Guru Nanak Academy, here.
The tournament was hosted by GNA. Four teams participated in the tournament. All the teams played matches on round-robin basis. The tournament witnessed intense matches, great efforts and playing spirit among the players. The final was between Guru Nanak Academy and The Doon Presidency International School, Bhaniawala.
The match was won by The Doon Presidency, becoming the winners of the tournament. The runner up team was Guru Nanak Academy.
The Chief Guest at the event was Dr Anuj Singh, Principal, Prakriti Valley School, Dehradun. He appreciated the team spirit of the players.
The prizes were given away by Dr Anuj Singh and Dr DPS Gupta, the Principal of Guru Nanak Academy.
