Dehradun, 13 Nov: On 8 November 2024, the kindergarten and junior school of St Patrick’s Academy, Clement Town, celebrated, their 10th anniversary with a gala Annual Day Function. The impressive show was inaugurated and presided over by Narendra Kumar Yadav, Chairman, Uttarakhand State Centre, Institution of Engineers.
A lively and well-choreographed fusion dance kick-started the celebration. The tiny tots of nursery and KG showcased their dancing and acting prowess by bringing to life, “The Pied Piper of Hamelin”, an all-time favourite of children and old alike. The kindergarten battalion stole the hearts of all gathered, through their rhythmic movements, animated dialogue delivery and actions.
The junior school consisting of classes I to V, then converted the stage into a spectacular dance arena. “We Are One – A Dance Odyssey”, which was a treat for the eyes as they were adorned in vibrant, bright and bold hues. The students brought alive some of the finest dance forms of the world. Besides, the most popular dances panning the world, the unique show had dances from other planets as well. The ‘Flash Mob’ dance with an airport scene as backdrop, took everyone by surprise. The school choir, with some peppy numbers and instrumentals, made the evening musically more special. It was an unforgettable night of pure enchantment, where music and dance transcended boundaries and united all in its universal language. It was an exhibition of hard work, collaboration and synchronisation by the teachers and students alike highlighting the Academy’s commitment towards nurturing talent, creativity, and community spirit.
