Dehradun, 15 Nov: On the occasion of Tribal Pride Day, a major national function was organised in Jamui, Bihar, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated virtually in this programme from his Official Residence here today.
The Chief Minister later distributed certificates to the beneficiaries of PM Janman Yojana after the programme. He provided certificates to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi, and Ayushman Card. On this occasion, Dhami also laid the foundation stone for two hostel buildings under PM Janman Yojana at Kulha in Udham Singh Nagar and Lachhampur in Kotdwar.
MLAs Umesh Sharma ‘Kau’, Savita Kapoor, Secretary Dr Neeraj Kherwal, Director General of Education Jharna Kamthan, and Director of Tribal Welfare Sanjay Singh Tolia were present on the occasion.
